New Bond film announced: Spectre
This morning the title and cast of the brand new James Bond film have been announced.
Spectre will be the 24th James Bond film to hit the big screen. Daniel Craig returns for his fourth Bond movie, with Skyfall director Sam Mendes returning for his second. Starring Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Ralph Fiennes as M, Spectre is due for release on 6th November 2015. Principal photography is due to begin this Saturday 6th December.
Also starring will be Andrew Scott as Denbigh, David Bautista as Mr Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann and Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser.
In an interview with Charlie Rose earlier this year, Mendes explained that Spectre will feel like the second part of Skyfall, although the story will not be a continuation of that of the last film. He felt that a number of stories were left ‘incomplete’ after Skyfall, and that directing Spectre would allow him to explore these.
